 | The change inside of me..!! | Apr 5, 2007 |
We know not what tomorrow brings, Although we plan ahead, for only God alone can know the pathway we must tread. We cannot know the future not one minute nor one hour each circumstance that we must face lay only in His power.
It's vital that we live by faith from minute unto minute and trusting that each step we take He's walking with us in it. We cannot see the future nor the trials we must face but in all things, God promised us sufficiency of grace.
This alone should give us hope whatever be our plans in knowing that our future lies In His sweet, loving hands.
Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through Your eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth of my wrong doing, and receive forgiveness. And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that You change people and You change things for good reasons. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every one of my family members and friends and their families. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than You. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
When God called Moses to serve, he replied, "O my Lord I am not eloquent, neither before nor since. You have spoken to your servant; but am slow of speech and slow of tongue." (Ex 4:10).
The language suggests that Moses may have had a speech impediment. Perhaps he stuttered. The Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?" (v.11).
Our impediments, our disabilities, our handicaps are used by God for His own glory. His way of dealing with them may not be to remove them but to endow us with strength and use our limitation for good.
If our weaknesses cause us to seek God and rely on Him, they actually help us instead of hinder us. In fact, they become the best thing that could happen to us, because our growth in courage, power, and happiness depends on our relationship with the Lord and how much we are relying on Him.
Three times the apostle Paul pleaded with the Lord to remove his impediment, but the Lord answered, "My grace is sufficient" (2 Cor 12:9). Paul then glorified in his limitations, for he realized that they did not limit him. As he put it, "When I am weak, then I am strong" (v.10).
God uses our weaknesses to reveal His great sufficiency;
So if we let Him work through us, His power we will see.
God's strength is best seen in our weaknesses.

if i have a life to live over.
I will talk less and listen more. investing my life to people. I will invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained. I will take the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth. I will shared more of the responsibility carried by my parents. I will cry and laugh less while watching television and more while watching life. There will be more “I love you’s”, more “I’m sorry’s”, but mostly, I will seize every minute. Look at it and really see it. Live it. I’ll stop sweating the small stuff and worry about who doesn’t like me, who has more, or who’s doing what. Instead, i’ll cherish the relationships i have with those who do love me. I’ll be more zelous to tell people the love and grace of God, and the essence of He dying on the cross just to save us from our sins. Specially to my relatives. Let’s think about what God has blessed us with. And what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as spiritually. Life is too short to let it pass you by. We only have one shot at this and then it's gone.

AS WE BEGIN 2008 Some thoughts to guide us during this new year.... 1. Faith is the ability to not panic. 2. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry. 3. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home every day. 4. Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape. 5. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still. God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot. 6. Do the math. Count your blessings. 7. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts. 8. Dear God: I have a problem. It's me. 9. Silence is often misinterpreted, but never misquoted. 10. Laugh every day. It's like inner jogging. 11. The most important things in your home are the people. 12. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open. 13. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry. 14. He who dies with the most toys is still dead. 15. We do not remember days, but moments. Life moves too fast, so enjoy your precious moments. 16. Surviving and living your life successfully requires courage. The goals and dreams you're seeking require courage and risk-taking. Learn from the turtle -- it only makes progress when it sticks out its neck. 17. Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
